LIVE HOOPS is a nonprofit
organization that focuses on assisting (primarily but not exclusively)
youth in the Phoenix, AZ area in improving their quality of life by
using basketball to empower them to make better life decisions and
continue their education. By using our educational, athletic/basketball,
life skills, guidance counseling, and promotional programs we help
youth in their complete transition from adolescents to college students
and ultimately to solid contributing members of our communities. Each
program focuses on different aspects of development beginning with

teaches fundamental of our programs
as it teaches fundamental Life Skills we all must build upon. Our
Opportunities and Ensure Success programs broaden the academic, collegiate,
and athletic opportunities for any youth who participates thus increasing
their chance of continuing their education and fulfilling their hoop
dreams.

LIVE HOOPS was founded in 2005 by Kelly and Mike Mills in Phoenix AZ.
Upon seeing the need for assistance and guidance
of youth, young student-athletes, and their parents, the Mills created
LIVE HOOPS as a resource to the families we serve. LIVE HOOPS was
created with the Mills extensive management, social service, child
development, and basketball experience by putting together innovative
programs that have benefited a number of youth in the Valley.
